Heir to al-Andalus, Tétouan spreads a UNESCO-listed medina, white and intact, at the foot of the Rif mountains. Andalusian craft is still alive here.

A little history

Rebuilt in the late 15th century by Andalusians expelled from Granada, Tétouan keeps a white medina still intact, UNESCO-listed. Former capital of the Spanish protectorate, it blends the legacy of al-Andalus with a Hispano-Moorish elegance.
