A true architectural marvel. Designed by French architect Michel Pinseau and completed in 1993, the mosque impresses with its 210-metre minaret — one of the tallest in the world — visible from all over the city. The site itself is spectacular: built partly on the Atlantic Ocean, it almost seems to float on the water.

Visited end of June. How lovely it is to stroll on the esplanades and forecourts of this magnificent mosque built under King Hassan II whose wish was to allow non-Muslims to see the workings and architecture of this place of worship.

To be seen at least once in a lifetime. The visit is done in groups according to languages spoken. Our French-speaking guide was fascinating. This mosque is impressively refined. Everything is thought out in the smallest detail

If there were 100 stars I would have ticked them all. Just in the central courtyard, there's a very strong energy. I had never experienced that before.
