Mausoleum of Moulay Ismaïl

The mausoleum of Moulay Ismaïl houses the remains of the sultan who made Meknès his imperial capital in the 17th century. The rooms follow one another in a symphony of polychrome zelliges, chiselled stucco and carved cedar wood.
