Under the label "la rencontre sauvage", the Rabat Zoological Garden specialises in Moroccan, Saharan and African fauna, displaying approximately 2000 animals representing 190 animal species. Five African ecosystems are reproduced to reflect the original habitats of these animals. MISSION The Rabat Zoological Garden's mission is to preserve animal welfare, conservation, scientific research, environmental education and entertainment.
The Rabat Zoological Garden offers various outdoor educational activities, natural relaxation areas and quality catering services. Incredible zoo We visited the zoo in Rabat and we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the park as well as the cleanliness. Lots of African animals. Very large park allow for a good part of the day. It is possible to eat on site. An educational farm as well as a vivarium complete the visit.

A good place to spend a wonderful day of exploration. The animals are diverse as well as the plants. The visit to the museum and the vivarium enrich the tour. It's possible to bring your lunch, otherwise there are several kiosks and restaurants in the garden.

A good overall experience — the zoo offers a nice variety of animals and is worth the visit. Nothing exceptional either, but it's an honest and pleasant zoo, perfect for a family outing. 💡 Tip: avoid the 12pm–2pm slot, most animals are having a nap and there's little to observe.
