Kasbah des Oudaya(s) Around fifteen minutes (on foot) from the centre of Rabat, on the left bank of the Bouregreg estuary stands a veritable fortress dating from the 12th century: the Qasbah des Oudayas. With its monumental Almohad gate, the kasbah remains a striking site offering visitors unparalleled beauty. It encompasses an Andalusian-style garden, a museum, riads and ancient mosques.

The Andalusian influence is omnipresent: the walls uniformly covered in whitewash, the dominant blue colour, the well-maintained and paved alleyways, the massive doors in multiple colours, the wrought iron… The Qasbah des Oudayas, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, has become for many artists from Morocco and around the world, a haven of peace and inspiration. Visitors are captivated as much by the beauty of the site as by its soothing tranquillity.
The kasbah's great attraction is undoubtedly its famous Café Maure, which can be reached by following the winding alleyways. An unmissable spot where visitors can sip a delicious mint tea whilst enjoying delightful almond cakes. Offering, at the mouth of the Bouregreg, a stunning view over the Atlantic Ocean and the city of Salé, the square remains a recommended place to relax and watch the coming and going of boats between the two banks.

Magnifique, et très propre par rapport à d'autres sites touristiques du Maroc. Les locaux à l'entrée suivent les familles ou groupe pour faire une visite personnalisée. Notre guide ne nous a rien demandé mais nous avons décidé tout de même de donner une participation.boutiques sympas à faire aussi
La Kasbah des Oudayas est sans aucun doute l’un des plus beaux endroits de Rabat. Cette ancienne forteresse offre un cadre exceptionnel avec ses ruelles étroites bordées de maisons blanches et bleues, rappelant par endroits le charme des villages du nord du Maroc.
Il faut entrer dans les ruelles pour dénicher ces fameuse maison bleu. On a l'impression d'être à chefchaouen.
Il y a des beignets à 3 dirhams jus d'orange pressé sur place à 15 ou 20 dirhams des boutiques souvenirs ....tout au bout il y a une magnifique vue sur la plage et la rivière.
La Kasbah des Oudayas est une forteresse du XIIᵉ siècle, perchée à l’embouchure du Bouregreg, construite successivement par les Almoravides puis développée par les Almohades, notamment sous Abdelmoumen et Yacoub El Mansour. Elle est aujourd’hui classée Patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO.
La Kasbah des Oudayas (قصبة الوداية) est le plus ancien quartier de Rabat et l’un des sites historiques les plus importants du Maroc. Située sur une falaise qui domine l’embouchure du fleuve Bouregreg, face à la ville de Salé et à l’océan Atlantique, cette citadelle raconte près de neuf siècles d’histoire.
