Behind its earthen ramparts, Marrakech never sleeps: endless souks, secret gardens and riads hidden at the end of an alley. Jemaa el-Fna comes alive at dusk.

A little history

Founded around 1070 by the Almoravids, Marrakech was twice an imperial capital and gave the whole country its name. Its red earthen ramparts, madrasas and the Koutoubia tell nearly a thousand years of Saharan and Andalusian splendour.
